My biggest weakness, right after chocolate & coffee, is linens. Now that I'm hoping to put away the flannel sheets, all these bedding sets at Linen Chest, are calling my name.
When we moved 2 years ago, I found a duvet set I really liked. It was mauve and seemed pretty enough, in a damask print. What I didn't realize was, it had pretty wide stitching, which means it's been super quick to pluck and pull.
Now first things first, I just found these Verdi Espresso Cupsfor $1.70. The whole set of 4, is $1.70 SHIPPED. It's usually a $16.95 set and they're gorgeous. That's insanity! If I'm going to start changing all the beds, I'm going to need caffeine; then the girls will want hot chocolate and these are the perfect size for them too. Into the cart they go!
Then, I saw this set. At 70% off it's $59.95 for a King duvet set, from the Hotel Biltmore Bedding Collection. That's a crazy price for a King size; and the lilac one, should still match with my decor! If my husband has a say, he'll try to convince me to go with the charcoal, out of the 11 colours available. I do like it...but I don't see that actually happening. The Coordinating Sheet Sets are 80% off however, and that charcoal would look great as an accent. If the duvet is $59.95 though, maybe I should buy two....no, see what happens? Linen weakness.
Remember that Fireman Duvet set we saw earlier this year? I've been keeping an eye on it for one of my little people, who is obsessed with fire trucks. It's also on sale for $59.95 from $119.95 and he is going to flip when he sees the fireman gear. Happy Birthday Buddy!
Then there's this one. Seriously, how is this $49.95 for a double bed set? Originally $249.95, I can not believe this Denim Wash Bedding by Castleton, is 80% off! Decorating for boys, can be a bit of a battle. I think this denim bed set is a great option and it's going to age with them. My favourite thing for decorating bedrooms are neutral bedding & walls, then showing the persons personality through posters, wall decals and accessories.
What's new rule with pillows? I can't keep track but I think, we're supposed to toss those after 2 year years. It might be 3. Either way, when a down pillow that retails for $149.95 is on sale for $37.95, you replace the pillows!
