It might be a little late to order gifts and chocolate for Easter this year, but I wouldn't blame any parent who tries to extend the egg hunt for more than a couple of hours – you know, as long as you're not using real eggs. My heart goes out to anyone who's trying to keep entertained right now, but this might help.
I took a peek in the Chapters clearance section today, and they have hundreds of toys, games and other kids' accessories on sale from $3.50! Things like LEGO sets, Halloween costumes, backpacks, snow toys and American Girl outfits are all marked down – and there are even finds from Melissa & Doug in the mix.
In particular, I saw a few of their magnetic playsets that are known as Magnetivity kits. If I had my pick, I would have chosen this Pizza & Ice Cream Shop when I was younger, even though I couldn't eat dairy and never really had those things. It comes with 13 double-sided panels you can use to set the scene, and it's now $25!
But if your kiddos are more into trucks and trains, how cool is this Hape Emergency Services Vehicle Set? It's now marked down to $69 from $129.95 and will be TONS of fun, even when this is all over.
If you're looking for STEM toys to help your little ones explore coding, I'd take a look at this Learning Resources Coding Critters set. It's called Rumble and Bumble and looks truly adorable – and I can't argue with that price. The set is now $25 from $49.99, and that's not the only one included in this clearance. Shipping is FREE until April 12, so you should be able to order anything (except oversize items) at no extra charge.
