I think Birks.com ships from the US... correct me if I'm wrong! They do offer free shipping across Canada on purchases of $300+ but this would not cover duty. I have no idea what the duty would be for packages, so I can't advise you about shopping online even with the free shipping deal. I do know that this sale does have several nice items at 75% off like this BIRKS NEEDLEFISH® Collection by ESTY, Cluster Bracelet in Sterling Silver originally $550, now $137.50 and this BIRKS BIKER LOGOTM Collection Necklace, in Sterling Silver and 18kt Yellow Gold originally $1,300 now $325.

Birks ships from Canada. Here is the confirmation from their website, found under Terms & Conditions: 12. Shipment of Orders: Items ordered through Birks are shipped restricted registered mail or Federal express on approval. A street address is required for delivery. Merchandise will be delivered standard ground transportation, which takes up to 10 business days. You may request express delivery, which takes approximately 3 business days, for an additional charge. Processing time for in stock items is approximately 2 business days. Delivery times do not include processing time. At this time Birks only ships merchandise to Canada. Additional charges may be applied to merchandise shipped to US and outside North America. Oversized and heavy items cannot be shipped to APO/FPO addresses.
