This is a beginner's guitar package perfect for a young musician just starting out. By the way, Best Buy Canada has misspelled the guitar; it is a Squier (not a Squire). This is a right-handed design (not for lefties) and has a traditional acoustic dreadnought body shape. It has a spruce top with basswood back, sides, and neck. There is also a rosewood fingerboard. The guitar has a 25.3" scale length and 20-fret fingerboard. The guitar has a black pickguard with gold hardware.
Now, you get some additional accessories, which makes this perfect for beginners. The guitar comes with picks (five), a guitar strap, and a set of strings. It looks like the guitar also comes with a hex key (?), but I am not sure what that is for.
I could not find this guitar in-stock at any other place online. I did find it not available at Amazon, which is always good for reviews. This guitar package has a 4.2/5 star rating. Most the reviewers are incredibly impressed with the unit and think it sounds quite good for this price range. The quality versus price is one of the things most customers agree upon.

I am all for learning a musical instrument when you are young. My mother started me on piano, but my fingers are terribly short. Thus, it was a difficult instrument to learn. I have a friend who was told he could never play the guitar well because his fingers are very short, but he has a passion for the instrument. Thus, when he grew up, he started to teach himself how to play the guitar. I have to say, he is very good and I have had the pleasure of listening to him play Highway to Heaven and some Pink Floyd too.
