We have a serious video game deal to share with you today. Assassin's Creed Unity Limited Edition for the PS4 and Xbox One is on sale from $29.99 down to $9.99 at Best Buy Canada. In addition, Assassin's Creed Rogue for the PS3 and the Xbox 360 is also on sale from $29.99 down to $9.99. This deal covers all four main consoles right now and is pretty hot given the discounted price. Receive free shipping to store or free shipping to home on $25 or more.
This deal really gets hot when you price compare with other online retailers. The following is what you would pay for these games if you bought them somewhere else:
Amazon Canada
- Assassin's Creed Unity (PS4): $23.23
- Assassin's Creed Unity (Xbox One): $28.95
- Assassin's Creed Rogue (PS3): $23.23
- Assassin's Creed Rogue (Xbox 360): $32.99
EB Games Canada sells both games for all four consoles for $29.99. While some editions are selling used copies for as low as $24.99 at EB Games, there is just no competition between the prices at Best Buy Canada. Microsoft Canada has Assassin's Creed Unity for the Xbox One priced at $39.99. Essentially, every seller is MUCH higher.
Now, I know little about this game but it seems to have got a bad rap due to a few glitches. as one reviewer says:
Disclaimer: I'm an Assassin's Creed fan The game has some glitches, but future updates should fix them. Plus it didn't hugely affect my gaming experience. Overall, the story missions are fun, and the new "murder mystery" missions are awesome. It feels like Assassin's Creed Unity has more depth in the missions now. Anyway, if you're worried about glitches, don't be.
Another reviewer happily reported that most the major glitches are fixed now so it is a great game to play. Honestly, for $10 I am not sure why you would not pick up this game and give it a try. Everywhere else the game is over double the price and I am sure, if you really hate the game, you could resell it with little money lost.
If you just get one game, then use Best Buy's reserve and pick up in store feature!
