This is a little reminder on one of the most obvious ways to save money on anything Apple: buy refurbished. Apple Canada has a decently stocked refurbished section right now. Some people shy away from refurbished computers, however, I embrace them. You get to save money, plus, they took care of the problem so you don't have to.
All refurbished computers, iPods, iPads, etc come with the full warranty.
We have been wanting to get Daniel (my husband) an iPod Nano to go on runs with him. In the refurbished centre we could pick up an 8GB iPod Nano for $99 (reg. $129) or a 16GB iPod Nano for $119.00 (reg $149). I save $20 no matter which Nano I choose.
If you are really wanting to get your hands on an iPad (I know I did), check out the Apple refurbished iPads. You can actually really load up going refurbished. Check out this Refurbished iPad 2 with Wi-Fi+3G 64GB - (second generation) for $649. If you bought a brand new iPad with the same stats you would pay $849. You save 23% ($200) and still get the same great warranty.
I have been wanting to get my hands on an Apple TV which retails for $109. I can pick a refurbished AppleTV up for $95, saving me $14. A friend of mine totally loves his Apple TV, and I am excited at the prospect.
