I don't watch a lot of TV, and I have never watched this series. But I do watch for good prices, and 71% off Homeland: The Complete First Season sounds like a really good deal to me! Originally $69.98, the entire first season is on sale for $20 at Amazon Canada.
A nice Amazon reviewer gave readers a rundown on the plot:
Bought this DVD on a whim, and was extremely glad I did. The basic premise: Sgt Nicholas Brody, who was rescued after eight years as a prisoner of war, is either a legitimate war hero, or a sleeper agent for Al Qaeda. It is up to CIA agent Carrie Mathison, who has her own share of demons, to figure it out.
There is a total run time of 664 minutes over four disks. I price compared with Amazon.com just for kicks, and they have the first season still priced at $35.99. Futureshop.ca has the first season for $44.99. As you can see, Amazon.ca has a really fabulous deal right now.
