They have two packs for sale. One is 12 AA batteries and the other is 8 AAA batteries. They were both originally $13.99 but you can get the AAs for $9.13 and the AAAs for $9.99. For today's lesson we are going to talk about the difference between a battery and a cell. What we call a battery, these Duracells, for example, are actually cells. A battery is a device which produces electricity via an electrochemical reaction. The caveat is that a battery is made up of two or more cells that have been electrically joined. Your Duracell "battery" isn't actually a battery until you connect two of them together in some form.
