I think this technically began as a Valentine's Day promotion, but it's still going on, and I just have to tell you about it. I had never heard of the Air Canada Flight Pass until a few days ago, but now that I have, I love the idea ... and there are still some available for trips to places within Canada and around the world.
So first, we have to answer one pretty basic question. What is a Flight Pass? The full details are posted online, but here's the gist: they're prepaid packages of one-way flight credits you can use for travel within specific regions. Essentially, one of these flight credits equals a one-way trip per person, including connecting flights.
These Flight Pass options pop up every once in a while, and you need to be an Aeroplan member or a travel agent to purchase one. So if you have an account, sign in. And if you don't you can create one online. Then, make sure you have your mailing address, email address and payment card number ready to go.
This time around, it's all about romantic trips you can take with your honey, to places within Florida, across Canada and to cities like Vienna, Brussels, Prague, Copenhagen, Budapest, Dublin, Rome and Lisbon. Prices vary based on where you fly from, so plug in your province and/or home airport to see your options. You have until Feb. 25 to purchase a Romantic Getaway Flight Pass from Air Canada, so don't waste any time.
