These green tartan rain boots are made in the classic, original tall Hunter rain boot fashion. The Hunter tartan is a reinterpretation of the classic Scottish design. The tartan is screen-printed onto cotton canvas with a water-resistant finish. The foot of the boot is made from the standard waterproof rubber.
As per usual, the boots have the signature moustache detail at the toe, the buckle, and signature tread.
In my experience, the cheapest pair of tall wellies has been $85 on sale, and that was for a much plainer variety. These are pretty fancy and a great purchase for anyone wanting a pair of rain boots. They are quite a bright green tartan, thus they will stand out when you wear them.
I like the tall wellies best because the look really good with skirts and dresses as well as pants. I just wish that I could wear them! I would be buying a pair right now if only my calves fit into the tall Hunter wellie. Unfortunately, my calves need an adjustable back or the short version of the rain boots.
