While musing over whether I would splurge on these Hunter Tartans, I ran across a pair of Hunter Original Tall Dazzle Rain Boots that captured my heart! They are a bit more expensive than the Hunter Tartans, but they are the same fabulous 70% off their original price. Originally $245, the Dazzle Hunter boots are on sale for $73.48. All orders of $70 or more ship for free whether you are a member or not.
This is a new boot from Hunter Canada's 2015 spring/summer line. The dazzle design features hand-applied geometric panels that were inspired by the patterns painted on British Ships to disguise them in the early 20th century. Enjoy a little bit of history with your new boots! It is a beautiful geometric pattern in grey, brown, black, and purple (I love purple) that will look great on your legs.
The Dazzle boot has the same shape as the original tall Hunter wellies and it maintains the buckle strap and signature tread from the original boot.
Size 6 is already out of stock, but sizes 5, 7, 8, 9, and 10 still have stock. Hunter boots are designed to fit a bit roomy in the foot so you have room for a pair of thick chunky socks or a Hunter boot sock.
Now, I price compared these beauties with other online retailers; not that I think anyone has a better price. Hunter Canada has these boots on sale for $169. I found the short version for $234.99 at Sport Chek. I also found a few pairs of the other colour (a blue combo) sold for around $240 at a couple other retailers.
These are truly gorgeous boots and are a pattern I can totally get behind. I love the colour pallet used and think most women would be pleased to add these to their wardrobe. at this price, how can you not?
As per usual, I have no idea when these will sell out. Town Shoes Canada does tell you how many pairs of each size are left in stock, so you can use that to guide you on when to purchase. My size - size 7 - only has 15 pairs left in stock so I will need to make a decision soon!
