Toys toys toys!! We’ve been posting a lot of toy deals lately – but we’ve just been finding such excellent bargains, that we have to share with the Moosers! I’ve found another stonking deal this morning, on this Hape Mighty Mixer on Amazon Canada. It was priced at $29.99, but just now, you can grab this cute little kids’ toy for only $10!
The Hape Mighty Mixer is stocked and sold by Amazon themselves. If you have Amazon Prime, then you don’t have to worry about shipping fees as there won’t be any. However, for those of you not with Amazon Prime… you’d either have to pay a little extra on shipping, or else make your shopping cart up to $25 or more, in order to get free super saver shipping to your home.
They say that this Hape Mighty Mixer toy is good for kids aged between three and five years old. I LOVE the fact that this is a wooden toy and not another piece of plastic junk to clutter up the house.
I also really like the fact that the images they have used to illustrate the Hape Mighty Mixer are not glaringly PINK. The mixer itself is colour neutral and they actually have a boy using it in the pictures – good on you! Let’s not make baking so gender specific!
One of the drawbacks that most of the reviewers mention is the fact that the mixer actually sits up quite high from the bottom of the bowl. Depending on what the kid is pretend-mixing, the mixing arm may not reach down to the bottom. I’d imagine you could throw in some toy food like my daughter has in her toy kitchen, and that would work a treat.
As for prices elsewhere, everywhere else that I can find is selling this exact same toy for $27 or more!! This is a really HOT price on the toy from Amazon and worth jumping on right now if you’re interested – we don’t know how long it will last at this price.
